Hi there,I’d like to take a moment to welcome you to the Scottish Open 2009.This is a Country Western One Day Dance Competition being held on Sunday the 24th of May.We are offering the following dance divisions:Social Line, Newcomer Line, Novice Line, Social Teams and Social Partner Dance.The First place winners from each division will receive a free dance entry pass to compete at The 4th Scottish Championships on 18th to 20th September. Here they will compete against some of the best country dancers in Europe.

All of our judges live in Scotland and are well known in our dance sport both at home and abroad. The event is open to everyone who competes in these categories, so ensure you send your entry forms in early to avoid disappointment. We will publish the schedule one week before the event begins.This event will use the WCDF rules as published on the WCDF website at: www.worldcdf.com Here you can print the dance sheets and also see the videos and hear the music.The venue is easily accessed from the M74.We will have a social dance in the evening to celebrate with the winners and enjoy the company of our friends who we haven’t seen in a while.Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.
